Who are you?
I currently live in London, but was born in Russia and have lived in Germany and Spain. I am someone who really enjoys expressing myself through drawing and creating images.

What do you do?
Recently graduated, I am now a freelance illustrator on the lookout for new design opportunities, exhibitions, competitions, briefs and connections. I am also trying to sell my work online. The ‘Bite: Artists Making Prints’ contemporary printmaking show in the Mall Gallery in London was the most recent exhibition I entered showcasing my screen print project ‘Transmutation’.

Why do you do it?
I do it, because I enjoy doing it. Art has been a part of me for my whole life.

How do you create these images?
Usually when I have an idea in my head I have to put it on paper straight away. It all starts with a simple sketch with pencil or pen in a sketchbook. Later I develop the image by adding more details and finally I finish it off in Photoshop or Illustrator if necessary.

Who are your influences?
Charles Harper has created some brilliant animal illustrations. His work inspires me.

What inspires your work?
As you can see, I gain my inspiration from nature, animals and patterns. Sometimes I really get inspired when I visit an exhibition or see someone else’s work.

What do you like?
I love nature, animals, music, peace, art, patterns and good friends.

What don’t you like?
Ignorance and violence.
