What do you do?
I create images using my hands and my computer
Why do you do it?
Because I enjoy it. That’s the main reason anyway. There’s the occasional bit of money involved if people think my images are worth paying for which is an obvious bonus. If anyone’s reading this who feels like that I’m all ears!
Who are your influences?
Hmmm…that’s a pretty difficult one. I’ve not had an illustration education, so all my knowledge of illustration from general browsing / reading / looking. In a way I’m kind of thankful for that. I’ve never been told who / what I should like, I just find things. Peter Grundy, Noma Bar, Kevin Lyons, James Jarvis, Eric So (if anyone knows where I can get my hands on any of his Estate toys please let me know!), Herb Lubalin, Playmobil….the list goes on.
What inspires your work?
Everything.
What do you like?
Spritz.
