Anna Searight

We are looking for an illustrator to create CD cover artwork for Anna Searight’s upcoming, self released album.

This project would suit an upcoming illustrator or student looking to develop their portfolio and gain some exposure for their work. This is not a paid job but expenses (within reason) can be covered.

Deadline for submissions – 10.00 am Wed 9th Feb 2011

Anna is looking for a very specific style…

Anna says: It is important that you dig the music, read about me and listen to the music here: myspace.com/annasearightmusic.

In terms of style, my music is quite folky and haunting and I want this to be reflected. I love the illustrations for Damien Rice’s Art work and also Jose Gonzales, as some kind of reference. Not keen on cartoony style, I like the sketchy/ illustration-y look more. I would be happy to send whoever would do it a copy of the EP before so they could get the ‘mood’ of it- if that doesn’t sound too pretentious!

Further info:
The final product will be printed professionally and include relevant credits to the artist involved. The album will also be released on itunes so the artwork will be put up on there too.
