This is a part time, voluntary position working remotely on the promotion of Creaturemag and it’s artists as well as liaising with our featured artists. This is a month placement with the option to continue with Creature after a month if we get on and you enjoy it!
The position relies very much on your own pro activity and initiative – You must be keen and you must be willing to make it your own. There is scope for becoming more involved with the magazine by devising your own content and features for the blog.
Responsibilities
– Work to promote Creaturemag and its artists online via our social networks
– Work to expand our following on Twitter and Facebook
– Build relationships with other related publications, collectives and artists
– Liaise with Creatures featured artists
– Gathering images and textual content
– Create and publish blog posts for our artists spotlight features
It would be good if you had…
– An interest in Illustration / the arts
– Good written communications skills
– A love for social media, particularly twitter and facebook
– A bit of spare time and a passion for the arts and promotion
This is initially a month placement and would suite a student or recent graduate or a proactive creature looking to gain experience in online publication and promotions.
Creature does not make any money, we survive on the good will of our editors and regular contributors. Therefore we cannot offer payment for this position.
