Who are you?
My name is Ashley Percival, I graduated from Falmouth University in 2010 and now a freelance illustrator.
What do you do?
I create artwork for your wall, and will soon have my work on t-shirts and maybe books.
Why do you do it?
I have always wanted to be an artist, I love creating new characters and experimenting, It is amazing to make a living doing what you love.
How do you create these images?
To create my artwork I use many materials including, pens, pencils, water color, and some digital.
Who are your influences?
I get inspired by wildlife and nature, most of my work contains animals. I also get some of my inspiration from myself, for example the clothing and hats that my characters are wearing 😀
What inspires your work?
Plane trails, worm casts, bubble tea and bebop. Motto: “Just Draw”.
What do you like?
I like art, wildlife, and photography.
What don’t you like?
I don’t like bad weather!
