In Indonesia chicken has been signified as a symbol of economy activities, for the example it’s can be see in Indonesian’s traditional piggy bank called “Celengan”.
Although this saving box are derived from words “Celeng” which means a wild boar, but the interesting facts that the widely known Celengan form were made in a chicken figurine, the reason why the chicken choose as the most popular figure, some say it was inspired from the consistently and patience the hens incubate their eggs until it hatch which it’s believe have a similar value with the saving process spirit.
