Creature is seeking artwork on the Croquet theme for publication in the June edition of The Croquet Gazette… read on for more info.
In partnership with Croquet East we have reserved some space in the June Edition of the Croquet Gazette for a special Creature Croquet art fest!
The Croquet Gazette is the official printed magazine for UK croquet and is read by Croquet enthusiasts throughout the country. They have kindly agreed to give us some column inches to dedicate especially to the publication of colourful, quirky Croquet themed artwork.
So, we are seeking submissions from you talented people. Guidelines can be found below.
All art will be published on the creature website, a selection of the best ones (voted by our panel (Matt Witt – Creaturemag, Miranda Garrett- Croquet East and Gail Curry – Croquet Gazette) will make it into the Croquet Gazette accompanied by an article on Croquet East by Creature Editor Matt Witt.
Guidelines:
Artwork must be new and original, unpublished material based on the croquet theme.
Nothing to risqué or obscene please!
The Illustrations above (by Hector Lloyd and Alex Woollam respectively) are brilliant examples of the sort of thing we would like to publish. Use your imagination.
Please submit 300dpi CMYK colour jpgs of your work to Creature@creaturemag.com
Size: Please submit your images in A5 (148 x 210 mm) size. The column layout of the Gazette lends itself better to publication of images in Portrait format. No bleed required.
Deadline: All artwork must be submitted by 30th April 2011.
What an interesting project, we can’t wait to see your entries.
