Welcome, Creatures, to our wonderful world. Creaturemag is an artist run online art magazine and blog. We encourage your involvement.

Creaturemag's primary dwelling hides in the depths of the Wiltshire Countryside, a haven on the ley lines somewhere between Glastonbury and Stonehenge, the exact location of which is a secret centuries kept. In between crop circle hoaxes and dowsing expeditions the Creature team, from their lair in the hollowed trunk of a grand old oak tree, release a very special publication.

Through the Creaturemag website we establish collaborations, devise projects and generally display great artwork. Creaturemag has many regular Creature contributors that beaver away creating special pieces of art that we then publish on the Creature blog and send to our fans on facebook, twitter and myspace on a daily basis.

Creature has to date published the work of over 200 artists across 18 editions, in varying formats. Creature encourages free expression and we enjoy receiving work that both inspires and displays an inventive application of the artists creativity.

We are a magazine of folk sensibilities, we aim to develop and sustain a talented community of creative people, to showcase the work of local and international artists and to facilitate both our own and others artistic development.

Creature is a celebration of our new found ability to connect, collaborate and socialise online. Everyone has the power to publish, we chose to fill our little corner of the internet to bursting point with beautiful artwork and writing. Creature provides opportunities to collaborate on unique projects, to put new work out in front of new audiences and to digest the work of many talented artists and writers.

Basically we want to see talent, of the raw kind, primal and instinctive, where creation is a necessity. We want to be pleasured by something you took pleasure in creating, for in the simplest of terms it is self gratification that drives each of us to create. So succumb to the urge and discover the creature within.
