This week we are happy to announce a new contributor to the pages of Creaturemag. We featured Gareth Barnes artwork a couple of months ago. Since then he has contributed to our Endangered Creature project and now we have the chance to enjoy a new image from him every other week as art of our Happy Friday project.
Gareth is a proactive artist, always keen to get involved and promote his work. We love his style which takes influence from comic book artists such as Dan Clowes and Dave Gibbons, poster art, classical prints, and contemporary Japanese styles. He likes cute furry animals and places them in unlikely scenes. Creature appreciates Gareth’s use of colour and the way he merges influences to create his own very original signature style.
We think he is the perfect artist to wish you a Happy Friday and we can’t wait to see more.
